Abstract
As one of the pioneers in the field of history of Chinese Huang Ren began to write History of Chinese Literature in 1904 and in 1907 it was published by Wudong University as a teaching material. In spite of a work in the initial period of the history of Chinese it showed the Chinese features and high academic value. The paper explores the inspiration of the book to the future generations in terms of spiritual history of literature, practical history of literature and universal ideas of the world.
