Abstract

Objective To investigate the measurement of IgM of mycoplasma pneumonia (anti MP-IgM ) in children respiratory infection. Method The children charts of 1772patients with respiratory infection were reviewed. Japan Fuji mycoplasma pneumonia measurement reagent-SERODIA MYCOⅡ agglutination were used to measure serum MP-IgM. Results 21.9% patients (389cases)'s serum MP-IgM was positive. 3,3~6 and 6~13 years old children's serum MP-IgM positive level were 14.5%(147/1012),30.5%(139/456)and33.9%(103/304).In 806 cases of respiratory infection,205cases have been clinically diagnosed. MP-IgM positive rate was 76.1%(156cases);In other cases serum MP-IgM pseudoreation was 4.0%(26cases).The result showed significant difference (P0.01). Conclusion SERODIA MYCOⅡ agglutination is the impersonal mark in early diagnosis of mycoplasma pneumonia infection in children.
