Clinical significance of ARA54 expression in prostate cancer

Abstract
Objective To detect the expression of ARA70 in prostate cancer and explore the relationship between the expression of ARA70 and the clinicalpathological characteristics of prostate cancer.Methods Immunohistochemical streptavidin-perox idase(S-P) method was used to detect the expression of ARA70 in 50 prostate cancer tissues and 10 benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues.The relationship between ARA70 and the clinicalpathological parameters in prostate cancer was evaluated.Results The positive rate of the expression of ARA70 in prostate cancer(72%) was obviously higher than that of benign prostatic hyperplasia tissues(10%)(P0.05).The expression of ARA70 was positively correlated with clinical stage of prostate cancer(P0.05),and not correlated with tumor histological grade(P0.05).Conclusion There is the high expression of ARA70 in prostate cancer and its expression is closely related with the clinical stage of prostate cancer.
