A comparative study on the effection of subarachnoid anesthesia with bupivacaine mixed with sufentanil and with bupivacaine mixed with fentanyl in patients undergoing cesarean section

Objective To evaluate the effection of subarachnoid anesthesia with bupivacaine mixed with Sufentanil in patients undergoing cesarean section.Methods Forty patients undergoing elective caesarean section were randomly divided into two groups:patients in group A were received 10mg bupivacaine + 10 μg sufentanil +10% glucose 2 ml;patients in group B were received 10 mg bupivacaine + 25 μg fentanyl +10% glucose 2 ml.The degree of sensory block and motor block,and the apgar score of the infants were detected.Results The effection of sensory block in patients of group A was significantly was batter than that in patients of group B,but there was no difference between the 2 groups for the side effect,such as respiratory depression.Conclusions The degree of sensory block with bupivacaine mixed with Sufentanil was higher than with bupivacaine mixed with fentanyl in patients undergoing cesarean section,but there was no difference between the 2 groups for the side effect,such as respiratory depression.
