Abstract
Objective To observe the anesthetic effect of subarachnoid bupivacaine combined with sufentanil on the patients undergoing elective cesarean section. Methods Sixty patients with ASA Ⅰ~Ⅱ scheduled for elective cesarean section were divided randomly into two groups(30 cases each group).Subarachnoid puncture and 0.5% isobaric bupivacaine 1.1 mL(6.6 mg) with 5 μg sufentanil(0.1 mL) and 0.3 mL saline water(group S) or that only with 0.4 mL saline water(group C) was used for subarachnoid anesthesia. The onset and duration of analgesia, the highest plane of anesthesia time, and the analysis of umbilical cord blood of new born infants, and the evaluation of anesthetic effect and side effect were recorded and compared. Results The MAP fell down after administration of subarachnoid block.Compared with group C,the onset time of sensation block and the highest plane of analgesia time were shorten significantly in group S(P0.05).The duration of analgesia in group S was longer than that in group C(P0.05).The analysis of umbilical cord blood of new born infants were all in normal range with no statistically significant difference. There was no statistically significant difference in incidence of nausea and vomiting.6 patients(20%) in group S developed mildly pruritus without treatment. Conclusion Subarachnoid bupivacaine combined with sufentanil can prolong the duration of analgesia with less side effects.
