Abstract

Objective To examine the therapeutic effect of Jiaweibiejiajian(JWBJ) Pills on rats with hepatic fibrosis induced by carbon tetrachloride(CCl4).Method Wistar rats model with hepatic fibrosis was induced by the multiple subcutaneous injections of 40% CCl4.The first dose was 5 mL/kg,and then 3 mL/kg,twice a week for 6 weeks. When hepatic fibrosis was verified to come into being by pathological examination, the rats were divided into model-group,Colchicine group;Ganpikang group;low dose of JWBJ group, medium dose of JWBJ group and high dose of JWBJ group.JWBJ was administered orally for 8 weeks.Aspartate aminotranferase(AST),alanini transaminase(ALT),total protein(TP),albumin(ALB) hyaluronic acid(HA),laminin(LN),collagen Ⅳ(CⅣ) in serum of all rats were examined. Results Compared with the model-group,ALT,AST,HA,LN and CⅣ decreased obviously,ALB,TP and the ratio of A/G increased obviously in the medium dose and highdose of JWBJ group. Conclusion JWBJ has better therapeutical effect on rats with hepatic fibrosis induced by CCl4.
