Abstract

[Objective]To find out the epidemic trend and regulations of viral hepatitis in Dulan county, and offer the scientific basis for prevention and controlling of the disease.[Methods]Data of viral hepatitis epidemic from 1990 to 2004 in Dulan county were analyzed.[Results]The annual average morbidity of hepatitis from 1990 to 2004 was 85.01/100000.Morbidity of hepatitis A fluctuated often, and other unclassified hepatitis remains nearly unchanged.Morbidity of hepatitis B decreased from year to year.Among hepatitis patients, the patients with hepatitis B accounted for 56.93% of the total. The annual average incidence in male was 94.73/100 000,74.81/100 000 in female(P0.01).The incidence of hepatitis was higher in the people at the age from 5 to 44 years old.Of them, the incidence of hepatitis A was higher in the people at the age from 0 to 29 years old, hepatitis B was higher in the people at the age from 20 to 44 years old.[Conclusion]Hepatitis B is the main epidemic viral hepatitis in Dulan county.
