Abstract
Isobutyl amyl acetate is synthetized from isobutyric acid and alcohol wit solid superacid Fe_2O_3-TiO_2 -Nd_2O_3/S_2O_8~(2-) as catalyst. The effects of the ratio of esterification by different reaction conditions are studied in this papaer. The result shows that the best reaction conditions:molar ratio of alcohol and acid being 1:1.4(weight of isobutyric acid is 0.1 mol),weight of cat-alyst is 1.4 g,the reaction temperature is 100℃and reaction time is 4h,the ratio of esterification is 78.8%.The catalyst can be used repeatedly with little corrosion to equipments.
