Abstract

Using solid superacid TiO_2/SO_4~(2-) as catalyst , acetic acid and amyl alcohl as material , the synthesis of amyl acetate was studied. The influence factore, such as amount of catalyst, ratio of amyl alcohl and acetic acid , and reaction time, were also studied. The results showed that under the optimum conditions, the yield of esterfication was up to 94.6%.
