Abstract
Synthesis of amyl acetate with the solid super acidic catalyst S_2O~(2-)_8/TiO_2-Al_2O_3 was investigated. The kinetic parameters of reaction were measured at 100℃,108℃ and 116℃ respectively and the kinetic equation was thus built, which were compared with those of the reaction without catalyst. The results showed that the optimum reaction conditions are n(amyl alcohol)∶n(acetic acid)=1.3∶1,the(amounts) of the catalyst and the water-taking reagent 1.0 g and 10 mL respectively. The activation energy of the reaction with solid super acidic catalyst is obviously lower than that of the reaction without catalyst, suggesting that S_2O~(2-)_8/TiO_2-Al_2O_3 is the effective catalyst of the synthesis of amyl acetate.
