Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of paroxetine combined with the cognitive-behavioral therapy on depression. Methods Eighty two patients with depression were randomly divided into observation group and control group(each 41 cases). The patients in control group received paroxetine 20 mg/d,while the patients in observation group received paroxetine 20 mg/d and the cognitive-behavioral therapy, once every 30 minutes, twice a week. The treatment period of both groups was 8 weeks. Before the treatment and at the end of the 4th,and 8th week after the treatment, the depression symptoms were evaluated by Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD),the differences of HAMD and clinical effect among two groups were compared. Results HAMD assessment in both groups at the end of the 4th,and 8th week after the treatment decreased obviously than those before the treatment(P0.05,P0.01),and HAMD assessment in observation group was significantly lower than that in control group(P0.05).Effective rate in observation group was 92.7%,and control group was 73.2%,the difference in two groups was significance(P0.05).Conclusion Paroxetine with cognitive-behavioral therapy can effectively improve depression condition in patient with depression, and enhance the curative effect.
