Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical research of conventional Vacuum Sealing Drainage(VSD) and Improved VSD on treating refractory wounds of the hand and foot surgery. Method: 70 patients were randomly divided into treatment group(35 cases) and control group(35 cases). The treatment group was treated by improved VSD, while the control group was treated by conventional VSD. The efficacy and the difference of epithelialization time, healing time, wound healing rate, the fluid drainage bacterial culture positive rate, drainage tube blockage rate, and wound healing rate of the two groups were observed. Result: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.18%, the control group was 71.43%, the two groups in clinical curative effect had significant difference(P0.05). The epithelialization time, healing time, were reduced in treatment group than those in the control group(P0.05), while the drainage liquid germiculture positive rate and drainage tube plugging rate of the treatment group were lower than those of control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion: The improved VSD has obvious effect on refractory wounds of the hand and foot surgery, which can alleviate the problem of clogging of the VSD during treatment, and it’s worthy of clinic application.
