Abstract

This paper deals with descriptions of four new species of the Delphacidae collected from China. All type specimens are deposited in the Anhui Agricultural College,Genus Dicranotroms Pieber, 1866 Dicranotropis tortilis sp. nov. (fig. 1)This species is very similar to Dicranotropis cervina Muir, especially in the size and coloration, but differs in the structure of every element of the male genitalia.Male: length, 2.5mm., tegmen, 3.4mm.Holotype (?) and paratype 1(?), Kwangxi (18. Ⅷ. 1964, You Qi-jing coll.)Genus Peliades Jacobi, 1928Peliades mgroclypeata sp. nov. (fig. 2)This species is allied to Peliades nigropunctatus (Matseh), it can be separated by the head, pronotum and scutellum testaceous, the clypeus and genae pieeous, and also by the structure of the male genitalia:Length: (?), 1.8mm., (?) ,2.7mm.; includ. teg.: (?), 3.6 mm., (?), 4.0 mm.Holotype (?) and allotype (?), Shanxi (X. 1965, Zhu Xiang-san coll.); paratype 2(?), 2(?), Anhui (30. Ⅶ. 1976, Wu Yi-ning coll.), Jiangxi (13. V. 1979, Zhang Huang-shengcoll.).Genus Euidellma Metealf, 1950Euidellana pallida sp. nov. (fig. 3)This species is allied to Euidellana celadon Fennah and can be separated by vertex rather longer than broad at base, antennae with second segment longer than first (1.7:1), veins of the tegmen dark brown, also by structure of the aedeagus, and pattern of the genital styli.Length: (?), 2.5 mm., (?), 3.0 mm.; tegmen: (?), 3.1 mm., (?), 3.3 mm.Holotype (?), Hainan (V. 1974, Ping Zheng-ming coll.); allotype (?), Fujian (3. IX. 1973, Zheng Li-li coll.); paratype 1(?), Kwangxi (Ⅶ. 1976, Li Zi-xin coll.)Genus Horcoma Fennah, 1969Horcoma colorata fuscifrons subsp. nov. (fig. 4)This species is superfically similar to but distinguished from Horcoma colorata lacteipennis (Muir), by coloration and genitalia. In the new subspecies, the body is fusco-piceous, ventral surface of aedeagus with three longitudinal serial teeth outer margin of genital styles with a serial teeth.Length: (?), 1.4 mm.,(?), 1.6 mm.; tegmen: (?), 1.8 mm., (?), 1.9 mm. Holotype (?), allotype (?) and paratype 2(?), 2(?), Hainan (V. 1974, Ping Zheng-ming coll.).
