Abstract

PurposeTo study the lipid-reducing and body weight-reducing effect of compound tablets of tea polyphenol in high blood fat rats.MethodsThey carried out the experiment by using the method of preventive fat metabolic disorder model.Resultscompound tablets of tea polyphenol(at doses of 150 and 750(mg/kg))have the function of reducing body weight,internal organs fat(P0.05)and serum total cholesterol(TC)(P0.01).At dose of 750 mg/kg,it has the function of decreasing fat/weight ratio(P0.05).At dose of 30,150 and 750 mg/kg,it has significant effectiveness in decreasing serum triglyceride(TG)(P(0.01)) and raising high density lipoprotein and serum total cholesterol(HDL-C/TC)at different levels(P(0.05),P0.01).ConclusionThe compound tablets of tea polyphenol have the effect of serum lipid-reducing and body weight-reducing.
