Clinical effect of severe blepharoptosis treated with L-shaped of frontal muscle flap suspension

Objective To explore a methods of treating severe blepharoptosis.Methods 81cases(114eyes) patients with severe blepharoptosis were treated by L-shaped frontalis muscle flap that the separation of the deep layer is more than its of the superficial layer.Ressults 81cases(114eyes) were followed 6 months to 3 years after the operation,correction result is good with the fluent form and had no relapse and complications.Conclusion The suspension of frontalis muscle flap is a credible and effective treatment for severe blepharoptosis.
