Abstract
The breeding of Jindao 9901,major characteristics and high-yield cultivation techniques were introduced in this paper.Jindao 9901 was a new inbred japonica rice variety for late cropping season,with the characteristics of suitable maturity,good quality,high and stable yield and good blast resistances.The quality indices reached the first-class standards of fine quality rice issued by the Ministry of Agriculture of China.The variety was registered and released in Tianjin in December,2004.
