Abstract

Objective Objective To investigate KAP about health among rural residents in Chaoyang district,Beijng. Methods A survey was conducted by in-home or group interview among 900 rural residents selected by cluster random sampling. Results Almost half of residents could use water supply and water closet. Only half of residents did physical examination, 38.9%of residents often did physical exercise 53.4% now and then did, 7.7% never did. Correct answer rate about route of transmission of atypical pneumonia was 64.9%. Many people held the wrong conception that canine madness wasn't infected by animals other than dogs. Conclusion Most of rural residents haven't good health behavior. Health condition and life environment of rural residents should be improved.
