Importance and Urgency of Construction in Forms and Verses of New Poetry

Verse is the systematic and concrete presentation of poetic characteristics,denoting the linguistic orders and forms in poetry.The most important style in poetry is verse.Both foreign poetry and the ancient Chinese poetry have their own fixed verses,for instance,the sonnet in the Western poetry and the poetic meters in the ancient Chinese poetry.The New Poems have broken away from verse,neglecting the construction of verse.The New Poems have been existing for nearly 100 years and have had enough condition of verse construction.There have been many experiences and setbacks in the verse construction of the New Poems in this period.It is necessary to conduct the verse construction of the New Poems in a massive scale on this basis now.The verse consists of rhythms and linguistic orders,and special attention should be paid to the poetic forms in construction of verse.
