Abstract

The results of pilot test on the mineral processing of the fine fraction ilmenite in Panzhihua were presented in this paper.The mineral processing method includes to adopt the high intensity magnetic separation to remove a large amount of the gangue minerals,then using F 968 as collector,and SSB and oxalic acid as regulators,in mild acid (nearly neutral) medium flotation ilmenite.The results showed that preferable indexes with both high grade and recovery for recovering fine fraction ilmenite could be obtained.
