Abstract

An experimental research on flotation of fine fraction ilmenite in Panzhihua was described in this paper.The feed used in the flotation was tailings after dressing iron concentrate from vanadium bearing titanomagnetite ore in Panzhihua.The flotation flowsheet includes use of F 968 as collector,SSB and oxalic acid as regulators,and the flotation was performanced in mild acid(nearly neutral) medium,obtained indexes including the grade and recovery of titanium concentrate were satisfactory.
