Analysis of outpatient prescriptions

Objective To analyze the information of rational drug use in outpatients.Methods Random check and analysis on the 1 500 cases of outpatients in Qidong People's Hospital from January 2012 to March 2012.The survey project included the species number of drugs in a single prescription,adoption rate of antibiotics and irrational drug use and so on.Results The prescriptions with drugs less than or equal to 5 species were 61.7%(925/1500).The prescriptions of the application of antibiotics were 43.3%(650/1500),which combined with more than two kinds of antibiotics were 25% (375/1500).The prescriptions with irrational drug use were 4.5%(68/1500).Conclusion It is necessary to pay attention to the reasonable application of antibiotics,the rationality of clinical diagnosis and prescription.
