Abstract

Cabernet-Sauvignon grape seeds collected from Turpan in Xinjiang were used as the subjects to extract grape seed oil through ultrasonic-assisted extraction.A mixture of hexane and petroleum ether at a ratio of 7:3(V/V) was considered as the best extraction solvent.Single factor tests were used to explore solid-liquid ratio, ultrasonic extraction temperature, ultrasonic extraction power and ultrasonic extraction time.Response surface methodology(RSM) was applied to optimize the extraction conditions.A maximum extraction rate of grape seed oil was achieved. The optimal extraction conditions were solid-liquid ratio of 1:12(g/mL),extraction duration of 35.5 min, ultrasonic power of 290 W,and extraction temperature of 51 ℃.Under the optimal extraction conditions, the extraction rate of grape seed oil was up to 19.19%,and an improvement in the measured physicochemical indexes was achieved compared with the grape seed oil from solvent extraction.
