Abstract
Ultrasonic extraction of polysaccharides from Enteromorpha was studied and the extraction conditions were optimized by response surface methodology(RSM),based on a Box-Behnken design. The results showed that the optimum extraction conditions were as follows:ratio of liquid to solid 54.81:1,ultrasonic power 531.17 W,extraction time 272 s.Under the optimized conditions, the yield of polysaccharides was 17.42%,which was closed to the predictive yield. The extraction method showed higher extraction rate but lower extraction time than traditional hot-water extraction, which can be used for the extraction of Enteromorpha polysaccharides.
