Impact on Plasma Inflammatory Cytokines and Clinical Effect of Danhong Injection with Naoxintong Injection in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Danhong injection with Naoxintong injection in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction and the impact on plasma inflammatory cytokines. Methods 120 patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups: 60 cases in the control group,while 60 cases in the treatment group of Danhong injection with Naoxintong injection( treatment group). Evaluated the changes of neurological function of patients in two groups according to National Institute of Health Stroke Scale( NIHSS) before and two weeks after the treatment,and observed the clinical effect and measured the changes of TNF- α and IL- 6 content in the plasma by radioimmunoassay. Results Neurological impairment scale of two groups was significantly improved two weeks after the treatment,while the effect of treatment group was significantly better than the one of control group( P 0. 01). There were significant differences in the overall response rate,and contents of TNF- α and IL- 6 in the plasma between the treatment group and control one( P 0. 05,or P 0. 01). Conclusion There is good clinical effect of Danhong injection with Naoxintong injection in improving the neurological function of patients with acute cerebral infarction,and its mechanism may be related to the reduction of TNF- α and IL- 6 in the plasma.
