Abstract

It is a tenet in Chinese teachers' education that theories guide educational practice, which is based on technical rationality. However, just as educational practice is different from technical practice, educational theories are basically different from scientific theories.Hence educational theories afford the subjects in practice more profound understanding of education rather than direct guidance and it is reasonable to hold that reforms in teachers' education should be enforced in terms of both the concept and the concrete measures.
