Abstract
The mechanism and characteristics of Fenton' s reagent in water and wastewater treatment are over-viewed. The affecting factors of Fenton' s reagent application in water and wastewater treatment such as the dosage of hydrogen peroxide, the dosage of ferrous, the pH value of water, and the coexist ions are discussed, herefrom, the disadvantages of Fenton' s reagent are analyzed. The possible new research orientations of the application of Fenton' s reagent are given on the basis of brief summarizing of Fenton' s reagent application situation in water and wastewater treatment.
