Abstract
Ecological footprint analysis is a new method for measuring ecological sustainable development.The method wasused to calculate ecological footprint of Xi'an in 2002.The results showed that ecological deficit was 0.39hm~(2) per capita.It shows that Xi'an is in anunsustainable status.
