Study on Bullwhip Effect in Supply Chain

Bullwhip effect is a typical complicated phenomenon arising from uncertainties in the supply chain.The bullwhip effect badly affects the enterprises even the whole country.It has been being noted and studied for many years.Decreasing the bullwhip effect in the supply chain is the key to achieving the supply chain management and an effective way to enhance the enterprise competitive advantage.Based on the basic concept and the harm of bullwhip effect,the causes of bullwhip effect are analyzed.At the end,the feasible countermeasures from different sources are discussed.
