Abstract

[Objective]To understand the sanitary situation of water quality of rural drinking water safety projects in Yongding County of Fujian Province,explore the construction and health management strategies of rural drinking water safety project.[Methods]The water quality of rural drinking water safety projects was monitored continuously for 2 years.The detection was conducted according to GB/T 5750-2006,and the results were evaluated according to GB 5749-2006.[Results]For the source of water in drinking water safety projects,the surface water accounted for 66.7%,and the ground water accounted for 33.3%(19.0% were spring water).11.9% were treated completely,59.5% were treated with sedimentation and filtration,and 28.6% have not been treated.The total qualified rate of water samples in 2 years was 26.8%,while the qualified rate of ground water(41.1%) was higher than that of surface water(χ2=17.48,P0.01).The main over-standard items were microbiological indicators.The low qualified rate of water samples was caused by lack of disinfection treatment.[Conclusion]The microbiological indicators of rural drinking water safety projects in Yongding County exceed the standards greatly,and there are the latent dangers of water-borne infection disease.It is recommended to strengthen the water source protection and drinking water disinfection,improve the supervision of water supply projects and daily health management,and enhance the health monitoring of water quality.
