Spatial Index and Spatial Retrieve of Spatial Database Based on Oracle 10g Spatial

Abstract

According to the basic theory of spatial index,the realization theory of spatial index and process in Oracle 10g Spatial and the implement of spatial retrieve by spatial index are discussed.In practice it is found out that the same query by different spatial index may get different results,so appropriate way of spatial index is used to improve the efficiency and quality of spatial query and to enhance performance of Oracle 10g Spatial.
