Inheritance and Surmounting of Qian Xuantong to Kang Youwei's Thought of Study of Confucian Classics

Abstract

On the one hand, Qian Xuantong receives the very great influence of Kang Youwei's thought of study of Confucian classics, and has very good appraisal on Xin Xue Wei Jing Kao; on the other hand, the ways are not same they walked. Kang Youwei is the modern famous scholar that studies the study of Confucian classics; but Qian Xuantong is the hero that buries the study of Confucian classics and makes the study of Confucian classics become into the study of history. Analyzing and understanding Qian Xuantong's inheritance and surmounting to Kang Youwei's thought of study of Confucian classics has important significance to know their thoughts of study of Confucian classics and the developing trend of study of Confucian classics of modern China.
