Study Modern Transformation of Confucian Classics from Liao Ping’s Confucian Classics

Liao Ping studied Confucian classics through his life. The core of his theory was respecting Confucius and Confucian However, the Confucius Liao Ping respected was not the traditional one but the modern Confucian classics. The Confucian classics he praised not only bore modern characteristics, but syncretized with modern theories in the west and east, instead of six classics in the traditional sense. Thus, Liao Ping’s Confucian classics demonstrated the modern transformation of Confucian classics.
