Abstract

The treatment of chlorine-bleaching effluent of pulp by microwave irradiation indicated that the optimal conditions are as follows: the dosage of activated carbon is 1.0g, the microwave radiation time is 8 min, radiation power is 800W and the ratio of solid to liquid is 1∶31. The removal of CODCr is over 95%. The CODCr value is about 60mg/L.
