Abstract
The new technique as microwave-activated carbon were conducted toremove CODcr of garbage leachate. The effect of activated carbon mass,pH,initial concentration, microwave power, radiation time, mixed time on the removal of CODcr were studied by orthogonal design. The results showed that while the activated carbon mass was 5 g,pH was 9,microwave power was 420 W,radiation time was 4 min, mixed time was 45 min,the removal rate of CODcr was 83.12%.Microwave irradiation could change the structure of activated carbon, and bring somehot-spotin surface of it.These hot-spot maybe the reason that remove the organic waste.
