Preliminary Study on Digestive System of Minla cyanouroptera in Morphology

Morphology of the digestive system of Minla cyanouroptera has been observed preliminarily by naked eyes and dissecting microscope.The results indicate that the tongue is thin triangle,and the different apex of tongue with famle and male are obvious.Apex of tongue of famle has a long seta in each part but the male has not.The apex of tongue is furcate,and the furcate depth of the famle is 2.77mm and the male is 1.63mm.The length of the esophagus is 18.64 ~ 23.55mm,and the crop is not different from aspect.On the surface of glandular stomach there are short and small papilla,and the muscular stomach is upgrowth with a flat of developed horniness on the inside.The length of intestine is almost as long as that of the whole body.The small intestine is relatively developed,with a length of 100.90 mm in female accounting for 89.60%of total length of intestinal tract,while the male is 102.52mm and 90.08%.The caecum occupys 2.3% ~ 2.8% of the whole length of the intestine and the right is bigger than the left.The large intestine of female is short,only occupying 8.55% of the whole length of the intestine,while the male is 8.72%.Liver is the biggest digestive glands in the coelom and separates into two parts.The pancreas locating in the flection of the duodenum is thin and long,which all divides into two parts.According to the character of the digestive system,we can conclude that the food habit of the Minla cyanouroptera is entomophagous.
