Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of pneumatic lithotripsy through rigid ureteroscope for the treatment of ureteral calculi.Methods A total of 360 patients with ureteral calculi underwent pneumatic lithotripsy through rigid ureteroscope in our hospital.Results The stone free rate was 60% in the proximal ureteral calculi patients,80% in the middle ureteral calculi patients and 100% in the distal ureteral calculi patients,respectively.The complication rate was 2.2%.Conclusion Ureteroscope pnenmatic lithotripsy was highly effective and safe method for managing ureteral calculi.
