Comparative study on three kinds of treatment of Benign Prostatic hyperplasia with high-risk

Objectives: To evaluate effective treatments of benign prostatic hyperplasia with high-risk.Methods:131 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia were randomly divided into A,B,and C groups to be treated with transurethral resection of the prostate,TURP,suprapubic open prostatectomy,absolute alcohol injection in prostate.Using International prostate symptom scores and the urine diaries and quality of life to evaluate the efficacy of each therapy for benign prostatic hyperplasia with high-risk.Results:All of the three treatments transurethral resection of the prostate,TURP,suprapubic open prostatectomy,absolute alcohol injection in prostate have efficacy for benign prostatic hyperplasia with high-risk..The effective rates of both groups A and B were higher than group C(P0.05),while there was no difference among groups A and B.Conclusion:All of the three treatments transurethral resection of the prostate,TURP,suprapubic open prostatectomy,absolute alcohol injection in prostate have efficacy for benign prostatic hyperplasia with high-risk.
