Analysis of land-use dynamic change and its main driving factors in Karst region in western mountain areas of Guangxi

Using the models of the land-use change range,the single land-use dynamic degree,the comprehensive land-use dynamic degree and the composite index of land-use degree,this article analyzed the land-use change and its driving factors of Hechi city during the 6 years on the basis of the data of land-use type change of the city in 2001～ 2007.The findings indicate:agricultural land area decreased;the change in garden land was increased step by step;construction land area has been showing growth,cumulative growth went to 5990.380hm2;in2001,2004 and 2007,the composite index of land-use degree were 178.56,178.80,1784.41 in Hechi City,which showed the change from a high degree of land development and utilization to a reasonable adjustment trends.The policy、the fast development of economy and transportation、the population growth were all the main driving factors for the land-use change.
