Abstract

Objective To discuss the clinical effect of polymerization porcelain crown restoration after root canal therapy on maxillary anterior teeth. Methods By selecting 294 teeth of 145 stomatological outpatients as examples, glass fiber post and resin core crown restoration was applied after one-time root canal therapy: Ceramage polymerization porcelain crown restoration for the experiment group of 147 teeth of 73 patients and metal-fused porcelain crown restoration for the control group of 147 teeth of 72 patients in order to observe the color, marginal adaptation, wear resistance and gingival staining restorations and patient satisfaction. Results For the Ceramage polymerization porcelain crown restoration: 2 cases were failed with a success rate of 97.3%;and for the metal-fused porcelain crown restoration: 10 cases were failed with a success rate of 86.1%.The color, marginal adaptation, wear resistance and gingival staining restorations and patient satisfaction of the experiment group were obviously superior to those of the control group. Conclusion the polymerization porcelain crown restoration after one-time root canal therapy on maxillary anterior teeth is of a broad application prospect.
