Clinical Study of Spleen-Strengthening Kidney-Boosting Lung-Suppplementing Decoction in Treatment of Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD) in Relieving Course

Objective:To observe the clinical effects of Spleen—Strengtening Kidney—Boosting Lung—Suppplementing Decoction for treatment of patients with COPD relieving course.Methods:Sixty patients were randomly assigned to the treatment group(30 cases) and the control group(30 cases).Two groups all used normal western medicine treatment(Fluticasone propionale+Theophylline) and the treatment group combined with Spleen—strengtening Kidney—Boosting Lung—Supplementing Decoction.Results:After three months of treatment,the total utility rate of the complex effect in the treatment group was better than that of the controlled group.There was significant difference.And in the treatment group,the score of the pulmonary function rating(FEV1%pre and FEV1/FVC)had remarkable change,and in the control group,the scores had no remarkable change.And in the treatment group,the score of the number of cold and acute exacerbation had remarkable change,and in the control group,the scores had no remarkable change.Conclusions:The Spleen—Strengthening Kidney—Boosting Lung—Supplementing Decoction can improve the symptoms and the pulmonary function rating.At the same time it can reduce the number of acute exacerbation of COPD and prevent cold.
