Abstract
The environment-friendly organic solvent N-Methylmorpholine-N-oxide(NMMO) is used as the ramie fiber swelling solvent.Through the padding and curing pretreatment,ramie fabrics are modified by NMMO.The optimum pretreatment conditions of the ramie fabric and dyeing property of pretreated ramie fabric are investigated.The results show that after the pretreatment of dipping 5 min in 30% NMMO solution,curing 2 min at 130 ℃,then dyed with X reactive dyes in process of dyeing for 50 min in 30 ℃ with 40 g/L salt and fixing for 20 min in 40 ℃ with 10 g/L alkali,the K/S value of the modified ramie fabric is 50% higher than that of the normal ramie fabric and the color fastness is close to non-treated one′s.
