Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical significance of VEGF expression in human breast cancer. Methods:For 47 cases with breast tumor and 95 cases with breast cancer,VEGF were examined by SABC immunohistochemical methods. Results:The positive rate of VEGF was 25.53%(12/47) in the breast adenoma and the positive rate of VEGF was 54.75%(52/95) in breast cancer. The positive rates of VEGF in invasive breast cancer and lymphmetastases group were significantly higher than that of non-invasive group and non-lymphmetastases group(P0.05).Conclusion:The overexperssion of VEGF may be predict poor prognosis and VEGF examined is helpful for chemotherapy plan of breast cancer.
