Abstract
To analyze the promoter activity of VHA-c genes of Arabidopsis thaliana,The GUS repoter gene was fused with the promoter of VHA-c2,c3and c5respectively,and the VHA-c-GUSconstructs were transformed into tobacco leaves.Expression analysis of GUS activity under 4℃,40℃ or 25℃showed that all the three promoters were induced by low temperature, while the VHA-c3promoter was up-regulated under 40 ℃,but the VHA-c2promoter was inhibited slightly under the same conditions.Light also up-regulated GUS expression driven by the three promoters respectively, indicating that all the three promoters were responsive to light.
