Abstract

Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of acupuncture moxibustion in treatment of nocturnal enuresis in children. Methods: 240 children suffering from nocturnal enuresis which had been differentiated as kidney Qi deficiency syndrome in TCM were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The former was received acupuncture moxibustion therapy and the latter was orally administrated with Chinese patent drug. Results: After 8 week's treatment, the total effective rates were 91.38% in treatment group and 77.67% in control group respectively(P0.05).The total scores of TCM syndrome were decreased by 11.47±4.86 in treatment group and 7.06±3.16 in control group respectively(P0.01).Conclusion: Clinical therapeutic effect of acupuncture and moxibustion is better than that of sole administration of Chinese patent drug.
