Twenty-One Patients with Intestinal Mucosal Injury Due to Ulcerative Colitis Treated with Supplemented Baitouweng Decoction Combined with Enema of Chinese Medicine

Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effects of Supplemented Baitouweng Decoction combined with enema of Chinese medicine on intestinal mucosal injury due to ulcerative colitis( UC). Methods: 42 cases with intestinal mucosal injury due to UC received by this hospital were selected as the study objects and divided into treatment group and control group,with 21 cases in each group. Control group were orallly given Olsalazine Sodium Capsules while treatment group were given Supplemented Baitouweng Decoction combined with enema of Chinese medicine for the treatment. Results: The effective rate of treatment group( 81. 0%) was higher than that of control group( 57. 1%)( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Supplemented Baitouweng Decoction combined with enema of Chinese medicine on intestinal mucosal injury due to UC.
