Abstract

Taking Muzhngshan water garden in Shanghai World Expo in 2010 as example,heritage and development of traditional Chinese garden under modern ideas of landscape and architecture design were discussed from the views of combining western and oriental artistic styles and modern architecture materials to to provide significant and illuminating guidance to the development of transforming gardening in China.
