Abstract

Objective To investigate the class 1 integron and the drug-resistant genes associated β-lactam antibiotics in Imipenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa(IRPa) isolated from ICU.Method 12 strains of IRPa were isolated from hospitalized patients in ICU,and the class 1 integron genetic markers(including intI1 and qacE△1-sul1) and 15 kinds of drug-resistant gene associated β-lactam antibiotics were analyzed by PCR.Result In 12 strains of IRPa,genes of intI1,qacE△1-sul1,oprD,blaIMP,blaVIM,blaTEM,blaSHV,blaOXA-10 group,blaCARB,blaPER,blaVEB,blaGES,blaDHA,blaOXA-1 group,blaOXA-2 group,blaBEL-1,and blaCTX-M-1 group all showed negative.Conclusion The class 1 integron was not existed in IRPa isolated clinically,and the oprD gene lack mutation was the main mechanism of Pseudomonas aeruginosa resistant to Imipenem.
