Abstract

OBJECTIVE To investigate the class 1 integron and the drug-resistant genes in Pseudomonas aeruginosa(PAE) isolated from ICU.METHODS Thirty three strains of PAE were isolated from hospitalized patients in ICU,and the class 1 integron genetic markers(including intⅠ1 and qacE△1-sul1) and 22 kinds of the drug-resistant genes were analyzed by PCR.RESULTS In 33 strains of PAE,the deficiency rate of oprD gene was 100.0%,and genes of intⅠ1,qacE△1-sul1,blaIMP,blaVIM,blaTEM,blaSHV,blaOXA-10 group,blaCARB,blaPER,blaVEB,blaGES,blaDHA,blaOXA1 group,blaOXA-2 group,blaBEL-1,blaCTX-M-1 group,aac(3)-Ⅱ,aac(6′)-Ⅰ,aac(6′)-Ⅱ,ant(3″)-Ⅰ,ant(2″)-Ⅰ,catB and cml1 were all negative.CONCLUSIONS The class 1 integron is not existed in PAE isolates,and the deficiency rate of oprD gene is very high.oprD Gene lack mutation is the main mechanism of PAE resistant to imipenem.
