Abstract
Objectve To investigate the human papillomavirus(HPV)genotype in different degree of cervical disease and explore the carcinogenicity of different human papillomavirus genotype. Methods Hybrimax were used to detect 21 kinds of HPV genotype in 638 patients of Gansu province. And the cervical biopsy pathology was inspected at the same time.Divided into 4 groups According to the pathology diagnosis results, the samples were divided into 4 groups:cervical cancer group(n=77);HSIL group(n=120),including CINⅡ(n=71)and CINⅢ(n=49);LSIL group(n=222),including CINⅠ(n=198)and cervical condyloma(n=24);and chronic cervicitis group(n=219).The distribution of HPV genotype in each group was statistically analysed by the SPSS11.5,in order to explore the relationship between HPV genotype and cervical disease. Results Eighteen HPV genotypes were found by Hybrimax, but the HPV 35,43,and 44 were not founded. The main genotypes in cervical cancer group were HPV16(88.16%),18(7.89%),58(5.26%),52(3.95%),and 68(3.95%).HPV16 was the most popular genotype in all specimens, and was more prevalent in cancer and HSIL group than in LSIL group and chronic cervicitis(P0.05).HPV68 was the main type in cervical cancer and cervical condyloma.HPV6 and HPV11 was the main genotype in cervical condyloma, but didn't appear in cervical cancer.Single genotype infection occupied the obvious superiority in all group, and the single type infection rate was increasing with severity of the disease. Conclusion The prevalence of main HPV genotypes in cervical cancer in Gansu province is accordant to that of eastern Asia and Chinese. It also exists geographical differences in the same time.HPV16,18,58,52,and 68 have strong carcinogenicity.Single type infection can increase the occurrence of cervical cancer.
