Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of two different trabeculectomy surgeries in the treatment of glaucoma. Methods 116 case(128eyes) with glaucoma were randomLy assigned into control group(64 eyes) and experimental group(64 eyes);the control group was given traditional trabeculectomy, the experimental group was given complex trabeculectomy. The effect of surgeries were measured and compared between the two groups during 1 year after operation. Results The operation was successful in all the cases. The shallow anterior chamber one week after operation of experimental group(7.81%) were much less than those of control group(21.88%)(P0.05);there were significant differences in long-term postoperative incidence of intraoeular pressure respect to operation success rates between experimental group(87.5%) and control group(43.8%)(P0.05).One year later, the incidence of functional filter bulbs of conrol group(70.31%) was significantly lower than that of experimental group(90.63%)(P0.05).The complication of experimental group were significant less than those in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion The compound trabeculectomy is better than traditional trabeculetomy in cure glaucoma. The application of compound trabeculectomy in glaucoma may effectively reduce the occurrence of postoperative shallow anterior chamber, elevate the rates of surgical success and r decreased the complications postoperative.
